The Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps prides itself on building future leaders, not only the community, of America!
Squadrons are the basis of our unit's organization. Led by the Squadron commander, 2nd Squadron consists of four flights, Delta, Echo, Foxtrot, and Golf.
The Squadron Commander is tasked with the job of ensuing accomplishment of the mission and objectives of the cadet corps. Maintaining proper appearance, discipline, efficiency, training, and conduct of all cadets; ensuring that all cadets have the opportunity to develop leadership commensurate with their individual skills.
The Flight Commander works directly under the squadron commander, they are directly responsible for their flight's appearance, discipline, efficiency, and training of the flight. They start the class as directed by SASI/ASI, Disseminating and collecting information as necessary to/from flight members
They assist the ASI with uniform inspections, and lead and direct the flight in all functions.
Both the Squadron Commander, and Flight Commander play a crucial role in shaping the character, discipline, and organizational skills of the cadets involved. Cadet leadership positions are designed to mirror the structure of the United States Air Force, providing a structured environment for learning and development.
CA-20063 is almost entirely cadet led. The advisors take a step back, letting the cadets make mistakes, and learn what it is like to be true leaders.
