The job of the Inspector General is to ensure that the unit complies with Air Force regulations and standard operating procedures.
The cadet themselves will know the standards and ensures the unit complies and exceeds standards.
The Inspector General works directly for the SASI and ASI and should be involved in all aspects of the group.
The Inspector General will insure:
- That the unit is ready for upcoming uniform inspections.
- Assists SASI, ASI, Group and Vice Group Commander when needed.
- Help cadets with certain complaints, questions, and guidance on regulations.
- Will review, give constructive criticism, and advise the unit without retribution.
- Maintain a distance from daily decision making and must not give any impression of interfering with the work of the Group and Vice Group Commander.
- Evaluate all operational staff personnel to verify that each member is complying to their assigned responsibilities.
