OUR MODEL ROCKETRY PROGRAM

The model rocketry team in AFJROTC is an innovative and enthusiastic group of cadets who are fascinated in the realm of aerospace engineering and design.

Through hands-on experience, they learn to construct and launch model rockets, gaining valuable insights into principles of flight and propulsion. The team gains a passion for science and technology while promoting teamwork and problem-solving skills among its members. The cadets get the opportunity to participate in this team bi-yearly. In order to join the model rocketry team cadets must write a one or two page essay on any rocket oriented space mission and why it was a success or failure.
