In unit CA-2003rd, we're passionate about helping people access the information they need to succeed. Our story began in 2006, since then we have been helping cadets develop character, and be a reliable, and dedicated, member of their community and nation as a whole. We strive to teach these principles by attending multiple community services a week, and by fostering a healthy learning environment for all, offering volunteer services to our entire community.
Our corps is run primarily by cadets ordered in positions according to our chain of command. All cadets in positions of power have earned their way there, learning priceless life lessons about responsibility, teamwork, and leadership along the way. With this however, we also have two USAF retired Master Sergeants who have spent a collective 46 years in the air force. They oversee everything to make sure it is productive and ethical.
We are built on a platform of community and volunteer services, as this encourages cadets to be involved in their school and community. Last year, we achieved over 3,000 hours of community service, which is in the top 5% of all units worldwide.
