The instructor is a key figure responsible for the guidance, education, and mentorship of cadets. Their role is multi-faceted, encompassing various responsibilities to ensure the successful implementation of the AFJROTC curriculum and the  development of cadets into responsible citizens and leaders of America. Senior Aerospace Science Instructor: USAF (Retired) Master Sergeant Carlos Guevara

Carlos Guevara is a retired Air Force Master Sergeant. He served 26 years on active duty. 

MSgt Guevara managed both the wing operation security (OPSEC) and tactical deception (TD) programs. 

He deployed to an Iraq (Camp Victory), and provided force protection expertise directly to the Pentagon.

Carlos Guevara is a retired Air Force Master Sergeant. He served 26 years on active duty. 

MSgt Guevara managed both the wing operation security (OPSEC) and tactical deception (TD) programs. 

He deployed to an Iraq (Camp Victory), and provided force protection expertise directly to the Pentagon. 

While deployed to Soto Cano, AB Honduras he helped facilitate, communicate, and coordinate activities as the official go between (Liaison NCO) for senior officials. 

He also served as a critical member of the wing Threat Working Group; significantly improving the Wing’s ability to counter local threats.
